Denver Cutthroats unveil jerseys

The Denver Cutthroats unveiled their jerseys at a press conference to introduce their newest signing in former Avalanche defenseman Kyle Quincey who has signed a lockout contract with the team. Click the picture to see the rest on the photos from the press conference on the team’s Facebook page.

The jerseys are a modern design that for some reason has a modified Y collar to be a lace up. The captains’ Cs and As are on the front of the right shoulder instead of the normal left. One thing that really bothers me is the use of a serifed font. It doesn’t match the font of the D in the logo and it looks incredibly awkward on a modern design.

I wasn’t expecting much based on the logo and the jerseys are what I expected: meh. Drop the reddish orange and they might be better .
